Prezi.com – The next Powerpoint

Do you still use Microsoft Powerpoint for your presentation? Here is a powerful and free cloud-based tool that may make you rethink your decision.
Prezi.com offers you the possibility to create a kind of zoomable map to illustrate content. Instead of “slides” like in Powerpoint, you put your data and pictures in a giant white space and instead of hopping from one slide to another, you zoom in. Here is an example of what you can do with Prezi:

If you use the free version, the presentations are public accessible. Prezi.com is an online tool, you can save your data in the web but there is also a stand-alone version available on the website (free for 30 days).
